Cristen teaches Organizational Leadership and Communication courses at ASU@Lake Havasu. She is the founding adviser of the Chi Alpha and Digital Media Organizations locally, and is co-advising Change Maker Central, the student organization focused on volunteerism and innovation in the community.

Her research focuses on supporting and training faculty, first generation college students, and leadership through community projects. Dr. Mann currently serves as a Content Expert for research regarding the influence of social media on individuals as well as the professional development of novice teachers.

Prior to working at ASU she was a Director at a community college. Cristen earned a BA in Communication from the University of Southern California, an MBA from the University of La Verne and both her Ed.D in Organizational Leadership and M.Ed in Curriculum and Technology from Grand Canyon University.

Her passion is connecting students to industry through internships and local community outreach projects.
