Eric Aurand received his PhD in Mathematics from the University of North Texas in 2000. Upon completion of his PhD, he taught mathematics at Texas A&M-Commerce and Eastfield College in Texas. During his time in Texas he also was employed by IBM as a data miner. He moved from Texas to be closer to his family and was employed at Mohave Community College where he served in the roles of Academic Chair at the Lake Havasu Campus and Online Mathematics faculty at different times. Eric has been a resident of Lake Havasu City since 2007 and was a member of the 2010 Lake Havasu Leadership Development Class.
