ASU gets what it means to be a student veteran. We find they are driven to succeed academically and often bring a unique perspective to the classroom. And we understand that making the transition from military life to student life has its challenges. That’s why ASU is committed to serving the student veterans who served us. And ASU@Lake Havasu City in particular is a place where student veterans can thrive.
ASU at Lake Havasu class sizes are small — 15 students per class, on average. That means you’ll have plenty of one-on-one interaction with your professors. They’ll get to know you and help keep you on the path to success.
Besides a wide variety of clubs and student organizations you can join (or start), we also have a student club for ASU veterans at Lake Havasu so you can quickly connect with other students who either proudly served in the military or support those who do.
Lake Havasu City is a close-knit community where you really get to know people and make connections. Folks are friendly and helpful, and as a popular vacation town, there is always something exciting to do that gets your heart pounding.
ASU is honored to be recognized for supporting student veterans. We’re ranked as one of the top “Best College for Veterans” by College Factual and have been named a G.I. Jobs “Military Friendly School” for the ninth year in a row.
The new Outdoor Pursuits program is an opportunity for you to take advantage of the beautiful Lake Havasu City weather and spirit of adventure. Started by students, Outdoor Pursuits offers trips and activities such as hiking, biking and watersports on Lake Havasu.
Students from Arizona say ASU is a good fit for them because of the multiple campus environments to choose from. Depending on your lifestyle, you’ll likely find an ASU campus that fits you.
ASU is honored to be recognized for supporting student veterans. We’re ranked as one of the top “Best College for Veterans” by College Factual and have been named a G.I. Jobs “Military Friendly School” for the ninth year in a row. Though being recognized is nice, what matters most to us is what our student veterans say:
“Veterans Services here is amazing. They’ll work with the VA as well. At some other schools, it’s very hard to work with the VA.”
“Around campus, they’re very friendly toward veterans.”
“I’ve been to other colleges as well, and I’ve never been treated with so much respect and had a team so knowledgeable help me through the process of getting all the benefits that I was entitled to as well as helping me through my degree the whole time.”
“They’ve done everything they can to help me get to where I am.”
